Oakmill Equine Rehabilitation Sussex was founded from a desire to do things differently. Our founder set out to create a calm, supportive space where horses could recover, learn, and grow—not just physically, but mentally too. Frustrated by one-size-fits-all methods, we envisioned a more holistic, horse-first approach to rehabilitation and training, where each horse is treated as an individual. Today, that vision lives on through a team who share the same values—compassion, patience, and a deep respect for every horse’s unique journey.
